The FESS team is the winner of the Presidential Academy Business Battle Championship

On June 9, the final of the Presidential Academy Business Battle championship season 2021-2022 in strategy and management came to an end. The championship was attended by 328 teams from all branches of RANEPA. Only 8 teams from the student league and 4 teams from the professional league made it to the final of the Russian stage.

In the final, based on the results of the competition in the professional league, 4^th year student Yulia Goloviznina became one of the winners.

And in the student league, the FESS team «Invictus» – consisting of Victoria Sycheva, Anna Shumakova, and Alexander Voitovich – took 1^st place!

Absolute record: 19 gold certificates and 85 points for FIEB – again the best result among all universities in Russia

4^th-year FESS student Yulia Agatyeva scored a record-breaking 85 points, passing the management knowledge certification within FIEB. This result once again became the best among all universities in Russia!

Out of 70 representatives of RANEPA faculties, only 23 graduates received gold certificates. And out of them – 19 are from FESS! Among the best in Russia are our students: Yulia Goloviznina, Anna Tikhonova, Darya Fetisova, Alisa Guseva.

The faculty once again confirmed its leadership in management education. For the eighth year in a row!

91 points for FIEB – the best result among all universities in Russia

4^th-year FESS student Ekaterina Boloban scored a record-breaking 91 points, passing the management knowledge certification within FIEB, in which 55 universities from all over the country participated. 91 points – this result became the best among all universities in Russia! Moreover, not just the best, but with a significant lead over all other partici–ants.

Out of 56 representatives of the Academy’s management faculties, 19 graduates received gold certificates. Of them – 9 are from FESS. The faculty once again confirmed its leadership in Management education. For the seventh year in a row!

89 points for FIEB – the best result among all universities in Russia

Out of 47 representatives from the faculties of management at the Academy, only 13 graduates received gold certificates. Of these, 8 gold certificates were awarded to our Faculty. The best results from RANEPA were achieved by students from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences: Georgy Blinov, Zemfira Aybedulova, Denis Yuklanov, and Andrey Cherevets scored more than 80 points.

Georgy Blinov scored 89 points! This is the maximum score achieved by anyone who took the FIEB in Management in Russia this year. The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences is the best in Management for the sixth year in a row!

FESS became the winner of the Business Battle championship

864 teams competed in the Business Battle championship. 3^rd year students: Yulia Goloviznina, Diana Bolonina, Nadezhda Markova, and Daria Abakumova became the winners of the championship! The mentor of the team is Mikhail Vishnivetsky.

FESS Master Anastasia Petryaeva became the 5^th among tens of thousands of participants in the Manage! Championship. This year, 10,600 teams from 90 universities, branches, and colleges in 47 regions of Russia took part in the championship.

Overall, more than 150,000 students from all over Russia took part in both events.

5 foreign languages in 4 years – a record of FESS

Our graduate Anastasia Lazarenko mastered five foreign languages in four years of study. She knows them perfectly – as evidenced by international diplomas and certificates, which she holds: German C2; English C1; Spanish C1; Italian B2; French B2. In addition to the five language certificates, Anastasia also added a Microsoft Project Certificate.

And Anastasia’s main diploma is a «Bachelor of Management» with honors.

A second-year student of FESS is the winner of the Manage! Competition!

This year, 30,000 students from 45 regions took part in the competition. 18 FESS students made it to the Manage! Semi-finals, and 6 students reached the finals, competing against the top 150 representatives of universities and regions in Russia.

Among the top 10 winners, the youngest participant of the national competition, second-year FESS student Vladislav Belyaev, took 5^th place. He was awarded the winner’s cup and a certificate for 500,000 rubles towards his Master’s degree tuition by the First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, S.V. Kirienko.

FESS is the undisputed leader in management at RANEPA

Out of 47 representatives from management faculties, 13 graduates received gold certificates. Among them, 8 gold and 7 silver certificates were awarded to our Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FESS RANEPA).

Thus, our faculty has once again confirmed its undisputed leadership in Management education for the fifth year in a row.

All-Russian Case Championship Cup Moscow

Over the course of three weeks, more than 3,800 people solved Harvard-format business cases, each with more than 25 pages, and presented them as a presentation. 120 of the strongest participants reached the semi-finals. They were tasked with developing a communication strategy for the Scholl brand of RB company. As a result, 48 finalists were defined.

The FESS team won an honorable fourth place, and the judges praised their performance and awarded them a prize in the category «The Brightest Performance».

Modern Trade Code Championship – we’re in the finals

Over the course of three and a half weeks, more than 1,000 participants, 285 teams, including the team of students from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences – Zemfira Aibedulova, Georgiy Blinov, Andrey Cherevets, and Alexey Khanin – solved Harvard-style business cases that were 30 pages long and presented their solutions in the form of a presentation.

Our team from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences performed excellently and made it into the top three, winning third prize.

FESS is once again the best faculty at RANEPA for management

Fourth-year students from all faculties of the Academy offering the Management program took the FIEB exam online.

Out of 64 representatives from the Academy’s faculties and institutes, only 19 graduates received gold certificates. And of these, 10 gold and 8 silver certificates were awarded to FESS. Thus, FESS confirmed its undisputed leadership in Management education at RANEPA for the fourth year in a row.

Business Battle – Six teams from FESS reached the finals

Business Battle is an all-Russian educational project and the largest student competition in business management, which brings together 350 universities from 150 cities in Russia and is part of the international competition Global Management Challenge, in which over 50,000 people from 40 countries participate.

This year, over 300 teams participated in the tournament, and only 24 made it to the semifinals from RANEPA. Among them were six teams from FESS.

FESS is again the best in management at RANEPA

Fourth-year students from all faculties of the Academy, which offer the Management program, took the FIEB online test. They had to complete two sets of tasks: answer 20 questions and solve three cases.

Out of 75 representatives from the faculties, only 16 graduates received gold certificates. Of these, 11 gold certificates were awarded to FESS! The faculty has once again confirmed its leadership in Management education. Third year in a row.

Cambridge English Language Assessment Authrised Centre

The faculty received the status of an Authorized Centre of the University of Cambridge, which gives the right to conduct training in the Cambridge English Language Assessment program and issue 7 Cambridge certificates in English.

Every year, 150 second-year students received BEC Vantage Higher level B2 and C1 certificates, and third-year students received CAE certificates at level C1 and C2.

The FESS team made it to the final of the Business Battle Championship

After passing the qualifying round, two of our teams made it to the semifinals, and each of them took 1^st place in their group. The teams had the honor of representing the Academy in the semifinals of the Business Battle.

Ilya Burmistov, Anastasia Kotova, Evgenia Medvedkina, and Ilya Steblyuk were among the 30 finalists of the All-Russian competition, in which 1,480 people from dozens of universities in the country participated.

FESS is the best in RANEPA for management

The Federal Exam for graduates of the Management program (FIEB) took place at RANEPA. Fourth-year students from all faculties of the Academy that offer the Management program took the exam online. The exam lasted three hours.

For the second year in a row, FESS confirms its leadership in Management education, receiving more gold certificates than any other institute or faculty at RANEPA.

FESS student becomes jiu-jitsu world champion

Andrey Kupreev, a 5th-year student of FESS, won the World Professional Jiu–Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi on April 26^th, earning a gold medal and the title of world champion.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Sidorov, a 2nd-year FESS student, will win two medals in the Russian Underwater Sports Cup and receive the title of MSMK – «Master of Sports of Russia of International Class», though this will happen only in 2017:-)

FESS – the  best in the Academy for Management and English

FESS has grown – we now have over 700 students. Thanks to the persistent work of FESS, we are the best in the Academy for teaching Management, as evidenced by the results of the first Federal online exam for graduates of the Management program (FIEB), in which FESS graduates achieved a convincing victory.

FESS is also the best in teaching English, which is confirmed year after year by the expertise of the Education First agency.

International companies at the faculty

International companies are involved in the educational process of FESS. Leading specialists from BMW, Coca-Cola, Pfizer, Unilever, DeLonghi, PepsiCo, Bosch, Avon, RZD, Sberbank, Jacobs, and L’Oréal offer courses, workshops, and masterclasses for 3^rd and 4^th-year students.

In addition, these global companies order and pay for projects from FESS students. Project teams from the faculty carry out these orders jointly with teams from partner universities in Europe and Asia.

FESS – the birth of the brand

Academician A.G. Aganbegyan, then rector of the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, foresightedly decided to open a new direction for the Academy – a program of higher education. He was looking for a small and high-quality institute that could set a high standard for the new project. And he chose NIRP. Since then, we have been in the Academy and called the «Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences».

Creation

It all began in the 1990s when a small initiative group consisting of Professor Anatoly Vyacheslavovich Busygin, Professor M.K. Bunkina, and Associate Professor (now Professor) E.A. Karpukhina created a university of a fundamentally new type. It was called the «Independent Institute of Russian Entrepreneurship» – NIRP.
