Education through researching

The content of the scientific work
  1. The actual conduct of fundamental scientific research (confirmed by defended PhD theses, confirmed by protected reports on the conduct of budgetary and contractual research) and applied scientific research (confirmed by reports on the conduct of budgetary research);
  2. Publication of scientific research results in the form of monographs and scientific articles published and cited in rating publications indexed in the RSCI, Web of Science/Scopus; media appearances;
  3. Publication of monographs, as well as textbooks and teaching aids, which reflect the thesis and ideas of the above-mentioned scientific research;
  4. Using the scientific research results in the content of specific academic disciplines and for the formation of relevant competencies (general cultural, professional, area of expertise competencies), confirmed by their presence in the work programs of academic disciplines, practice programs, intermediate and final certification programs;
  5. Compliance of the topics of final qualifying works, Master's, Candidate's and Doctoral dissertations, of students, undergraduates, postgraduates and Doctoral students with the scientific field of the school, as well as compliance with the content of their research work and research practice.

How was the 4th International Conference held?

In 2021, a record number of participants presented their research: 46 scientific reports were presented by students and teachers from Russia, Italy, France, Brazil, Hungary, Romania. For the first time, representatives of global companies presented their research at MQM: DeLonghi Group, Sberbank of Russia, Pfizer, Bosch.

The headliners were teachers and students of foreign universities: Università di Pisa (Italy), Skema Business School (Nice, France), Belo Campus Horizonte (Minas Gerais, Brazil), MATE (Hungary), Budapesti Gazdasági Egyetem (Hungary), Budapest Metropolitan University (Hungary), Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați (Romania)

How was the 3rd International Conference held?

In April 2020, students and teachers from Russia, Italy, Germany, Hungary and Romania presented 37 reports in five sections: Human Capital, Quality, Marketing, Finance, Business Education. This time the conference was organized in an online format.

For dozens of FESS students, participation in the conference was the beginning of their own scientific research, an incentive to write their first scientific article (in English) and to submit it for public discussion.

How was the 2nd International Conference held?

In April 2019, 32 scientific reports were presented during two days of the English-language conference. The headliners were teachers and students from the partner universities of the FESS: NTU (Singapore), Università di Pisa (Italy), Hochschule Fresenius (Germany), SZIU (Hungary), BGE (Hungary), Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați (Romania).

The conference was marked by a high level of representation of foreign universities: suffice it to say that among the participants were the Rector and Vice-rector of Szent István University, Hungary (SZIU) and the Deputy director of the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration Professor Jue Wang (Singapore).

How was the 1st International conference held?

In April 2018, the first International Scientific Conference "Management, Quality & Marketing" was held at RANEPA for the first time. The participants were: NTU (Singapore), Università di Pisa (Italy), Hochschule Fresenius (Germany), SZIU (Hungary), BGE (Hungary) and University of Lincoln (Great Britain).

40 reports were presented in five sections: Human Capital, Quality, Marketing, Finance, Business Education. The first speaker was Professor Teo Chew Soon, Director of the NTU Faculty of Public Administration; in the People Empowerment report, he analyzed the results of the big-bang reform of higher and vocational education, identifying this reform as a key factor in the Singapore economic miracle.

German Professor Daniel Sonnet and Professor A.I. Leonov of the FESS RANEPA presented their vision of marketing trends in the reports Use of Expert Systems in Marketing Applications and Marketing in a crisis context in Russia. The topic of Quality was discussed together with students by Leonel Trivelli, PhD (Italy), Catalin Diossi, PhD and Andrea Mikaczo, PhD (Hungary). In the discussions at the Finance section, special attention was drawn to a comparative study by a Russian student Anastasia Lazarenko and a Frenchwoman Marilous Dupuis (a student of the FESS) on the financial attractiveness of clusters in Russia and France.
