Annual intercollegiate research and methodologic conference

This May, the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FESS) held the annual intercollegiate research and methodologic conference referred to the topic «Economic Theory and Practice: Current Priorities».
Several professors of the following departments presented their reports: Economics and Finance, Management and Entrepreneurship, FESS Social Disciplines, Department of Financial Management, Management Accounting and International Financial Performance Standards of HSFM, Department of Banking and Financial Markets of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Departments of Finance and Prices, Financial Markets of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, department of World Economy, Finance and Insurance, Academy of Labor and Social Relations, Department of World Economy and Foreign Economic Activity Management, Faculty of State Administration, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and departments of Karaganda Economic University.
Several professors of the following departments presented their reports: Economics and Finance, Management and Entrepreneurship, FESS Social Disciplines, Department of Financial Management, Management Accounting and International Financial Performance Standards of HSFM, Department of Banking and Financial Markets of Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Departments of Finance and Prices, Financial Markets of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, department of World Economy, Finance and Insurance, Academy of Labor and Social Relations, Department of World Economy and Foreign Economic Activity Management, Faculty of State Administration, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and departments of Karaganda Economic University.
Such relevant theoretical and practical issues were raised during a free discussion: financial and banking sector and its prospects, fiscal policy, foreign economic aspects, corporate management, and risk management.
The discussion regarding financial problems touched upon the issues of global finance, global security, banking sector development, development of the national economy and its digitalization, which were presented by I.V. Larionova, L.V. Krylova, O.V. Savvina, O.U. Makarova, A.E. Dvoretskaya, N.G. Schegoleva, I.G. Lenkov, O.I. Terentieva, A.M. Rakhmetova and G.M. Kalkabaeva.
Meanwhile, I.P. Khominich, N.F. Chelukhina and D.G. Perepelitsa gave special consideration to pressing national insurance development problems, occurring on the Russian market, as well as investment and cyber-risk insurance. At the same time, G.F. Fathlislamova, A.S. Alisenov, S.N. Ovsyannikova, I.A. Lisovskaya, A.E. Olkova, E.D. Itsakov, A.A. Kotova and Y.T. Gulbin devoted their reports to the matter of pensions, taxation and accounting, risk identification, mathematical methods of risk assessment, patent research, and corporate problems.
The earnest free discussion resulted in that all the participants hailed updating scientific research in economics, finance and business to reflect changing realities and trends to be indispensable.
The research and methodologic conference will result in the publication of a compendium of scientific articles in «Delo» Publishing House.
