5 foreign languages in 4 years – FESS record

Five foreign languages over 4 years of study at RANEPA were learnt by our graduate – Anastasiia Lazarenko.
Not only does the total amount of languages impress, but also their quality, pace of learning, efficiency in the development and three other circumstances: firstly, Anastasiia’s specialization was not connected with Linguistics. Instead, her major is «Bachelor of Management» (Honors)
Secondly, not only has Anastasia learnt these languages, but also knows them perfectly well, as evidenced by the international diplomas and certificates that she has obtained:
› Certificate in German language – C2
› Cambridge Certificate in English language – level C2
› Certificate in Spanish language – level С1
› Certificate in Italian language – level В2
› Certificate in French language – level В2
Thirdly, she started learning Spanish, Italian and French from scratch and managed to master them in 4 years!
Finally, in addition to 5 language certificates, Anastasiia also added Microsoft Certificate to her educational portfolio.

What brought Anastasiia to her amazing results? First of all, her personal characteristics: bright linguistic abilities, hard work and perseverance in achieving goals. Moreover, the curriculum itself provided her with this opportunity. FESS program has been developed in accordance with its own educational standard. This program is of an increased level of difficulty and at the same time gives a lot of opportunities. For example, English language and second foreign languages contact hours at FESS is three times as much as it is required by the state educational standard.
One more essential factor is our professors. The Department of English at FESS consists of highly qualified professionals possessing multiple international qualifications, knowing the latest teaching methods and working under the Cambridge University guidance. This has been achieved by the fact that FESS has been granted the status of an authorized Cambridge English Language Assessment Centre. This means the University of Cambridge has given RANEPA the right to conduct examinations and training for them, and award seven international English language certificates.
Anastasia was especially lucky, because she was taught by Anna Alekseevna Lipina, the Director of Cambridge English Language Assessment Center at RANEPA, a brilliant expert in English and an outstanding professor.
